About Suncoast Stormwatch
Suncoast Stormwatch was founded on September 8th, 2008, by then high school student Matt Bolton.
At the time of its founding, the goal of Suncoast Stormwatch was to serve as a personal site where Matt could experiment with his growing interest in weather, and web design, while also serving as a portal for weather forecasts and educational weather information.
Now, five years later, the goal remains the same, despite several design revisions, and an expansion of the site's content to include severe and tropical weather info.
