Suncoast Stormwatch

I added two new pages to the wiki and also got some of the pages organized better. In the next few weeks I will be working extensively on the wiki, adding pages and working on current pages.

The country has been cooling off lately but temps across the southeast and southwest will still be in the 80s for much of the week.

The drought in the U.S. is showing some improvement from earlier this year.The drought in the Midwest and the Plains has improved greatly, partly because of several landfalling hurricanes, while the drought in the Southeast, east-central Texas and California lingers, but even though the drought is still moderately bad, it is still much better than what it was several months ago.

Lows in parts of Oregon, Washington and Northen California this week will be in the low 30s so I would make sure you don't go out of the house unless you have to, meanwhile, in parts of Texas highs are in the high 80s to low 90s.

Today is the first day of autumn, now it should start cooling off across the country which is good news, because temps are still in the low to mid-90s in parts of Texas and its bad enough that Galveston was hit by Ike, but the heat makes it flat out miserable, and the heat index is in the low100s so IT IS REALLY HOT! so hopefully it starts cooling off.

 I should be able to start the daily weather news in about two weeks, enough time to hopefully figure out some design issues.

Monday is the first day of autumn.Temps Friday morning will be  near record- breaking status in parts of Maine and the Northeast as lows dip down to the low 20's and 30's.
